What makes a Good Poster?

Firstly. know what you what your poster to achieve. Know what your objective is. Are you trying to get people to come to an event? What you want your poster to accomplish determines how you should design it.

Important information should be readable and eye catching. The font Use of bullets, numbering, and headlines to make things easy to read.

Title should be short and designed to draw attention and interest. It should also tell people about your Brand. “Why Walk When You Can Dance”, “You don’t have be Fred Astaire to Dance”, “For the Time of Your Life’,

Use Strong Imagery. If you're including an image onto your poster, you need to make sure that it is of high quality. The last thing you want is to have a well-thought-out design with a blurred, pixelated image.

Colour is one of the most powerful tools of graphic designers. Colour is everywhere, and whether you know it or not each colour you encounter gives you an emotional experience. Green and blue evoke a feeling of calm, and yellow makes you feel upbeat (and hungry).
